About the event

Join us for an unmissable event at the WAAS meeting in Bunbury this July!

Explore the exciting prospects of the WA bee, honey, and pollination industry strategic plan, unveiling its future endeavours.

Engage with speakers from BICWA, APC, and DPIRD as they shed light on the community's bee-centric goals for the next five years, manifested in the WA Bee, Honey and Pollination Industry Strategic Plan 2022-27.

We are happy to welcome John Szymanski as our guest speaker, introducing his groundbreaking AI technology specifically designed to detect potential incursions at an early stage. With a remarkable track record in rubber vine detection, John's journey has led him to explore the application of similar smart technology techniques to revolutionise the bee industry.

Indulge in a winter-warming supper and receive a special attendance gift! As an exciting highlight, one lucky winner will have the chance to take home a Beewise-sponsored Apimaye hive as the grand door prize. You wouldn't want to miss this incredible opportunity.

Come, connect, ask questions, and join us in celebrating the invaluable contributions of our beloved bees!

Attendance is free, but registration is required to ensure ample food. Complimentary coffee, tea, and water will be provided.
