The FBRP is an eight-week program that includes a pre-program business health check, four days of in-person workshops, professional mentoring, and an independent assessment of your new farm business plan.
The Farm Business Resilience Program has resilience as its central theme and explores each of these four pillars of resilience - environmental, financial, business, personal and social. Existing and new metrics to assess specific components of resilience are looked at from a practical level across all elements of the program – the upfront business health check, the new farm business plan, and the independent assessment of it.
This next generation of farm business planning is supported by the Western Australian Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, through funding from the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund. If you have done farm business planning before, this will take it to the next level and deliver you the building blocks to make your business successful.
Attached is a flyer with information about the program.
Register your expression of interest
The workshops will be held in the Peel region 20-21 June and 12-13 July, Carnarvon 27-28 June and 26-27 July, and Perth on 4-5 July and 10-11 August 2022.
It is exciting that we now have dates set for the FBRP and we are keen for people, as a first step to register their expression of interest even if the current dates don’t suit or you would like to know more.
The register of interest will help ensure we get people into the current schedule of workshops. Once you register your interest, we can ensure you get direct information with more detail on the program, updates on any changes to dates and locations or when additional programs might be scheduled.

Direct program enrolment is now open
For those that are ready to commit, the on-line enrolment process is now open (no need to register your interest, just go straight to the relevant enrolment link below).
Depending on the program that suits you, follow the appropriate link below to complete your enrolment and eligibility check, make your subsidised payment of $500 per eligible participant, and to let us know of any dietary needs.
