Our Commitment

 

 BICWA is the peak industry body and engages with all levels of government, the apiculture industry, universities, research organisations and the community.

We support and fund vital strategic research projects to secure a profitable and sustainable bee industry in Western Australia.

 

BICWA protects the interests of producers and co-dependent industries, identifies and actions threats to industry and supports initiatives for industry growth and development.

​

Our industry is changing rapidly, impacted by issues including;

• changing environmental conditions v prescribed burning and

• threats of new pests and diseases

and BICWA is committed to representing the interest of all beekeepers
